About the Founder

Aureata L MAJORS bsn, msn, FNP, aprn-bc

I am a Nashville native with over 31 years of nursing experience. I matriculated through Tennessee State University’s Nursing Program. And, in 1990 obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.

In 1994, I returned to Tennessee State University to participate in the newly established Master of Science in Nursing Program. The Family Nurse Practitioner program focused strongly on nurse entrepreneurship, leadership and community service. We were challenged to construct a health care model to meet the needs of today’s family.

While in the graduate program, I developed a model for providing mobile care services to the home-bound patient. The model was designed to deliver individualized , one-to-one care in the place where the patient is the most comfortable; their homes. Upon competition of the program, I was inducted into the Pi Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau ‘s Nursing Honor Society. The Mission: “Improving World Health through Knowledge”.

From these experiences and other related encounters, Advanced Nurse Consultants was born. Our Motto: “Wellness designed with you in mind!” Our Goal: To provide health and wellness optimization through individualized care. And, to deliver direct care to patients and their families.
